Does the mint called eclipse have any gelatin in their ingredient?
According to a letter from Wrigley (found here: http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=96629) Eclipse® gum and mints are made without using animal-derived ingredients. According to Wrigley’s website these are Eclipse Mints ingredients: INGREDIENTS: SORBITOL, MAGNESIUM STEARATE, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS (WITH MAGNOLIA BARK EXTRACT), ACESULFAME K, SUCRALOSE, LACTIC ACID, CALCIUM LACTATE, COLOR (BLUE 2 LAKE). Eclipse Gum Ingredients: MALTITOL, SORBITOL, GUM BASE, ACACIA, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS (WITH MAGNOLIA BARK EXTRACT); LESS THAN 2% OF: MANNITOL, GLYCEROL, SOY LECITHIN, ASPARTAME, COLOR (TITANIUM DIOXIDE), ACESULFAME K, CARNAUBA WAX, BHT (TO MAINTAIN FRESHNESS). PHENYLKETONURICS: CONTAINS PHENYLALANINE. Because Wrigley claims not to use animal-derived products you should be okay, but to be on the safe side you can also call 1-800-WRIGLEY and ask about gelatin specifically.
