DOES THE Micro Optical Wireless Mouse Work?
The computer system this mouse was connected to was a 500 mhz pentium II system, running Windows ME, with Abit BE6 motherboard, 128 mb ram, 45G IBM hard disk, Gainward GeForce 2 TI video card, Soundblaster Live, Compusa Wireless keyboard, HP 842 printer, and several existing USB devices (Kodak DX3600 EasyShare Camera, Compaq USB MP3 player, Sidewinder 2 Joystick). None of these items conflicted with the wireless mouse (including the wireless keyboard). Much like the Microsoft and Logitech 5 button optical mice(?), this mouse has the standard left and right button, then one additional button on each side of the mouse. The wheel can also be pressed and acts as the 5th button. On this mouse the wheel also serves another function, when the batteries get low, the wheel will glow “red”, warning you to recharge the batteries. This mouse works flawlessly, and works much like the Microsoft Optical Intellimouse. My guess is Microsoft designed the 5 button Optical wheel mouse with Internet Explor
