Does the Meridian subsidy affect my ability to apply for the Medicare or Medicaid EHR incentive programs?

A. No, this subsidy has no impact on your ability to apply for the Federal “meaningful use” incentive programs. However, we want to remind physicians that in order to qualify for full Medicare meaningful use incentives ($44,000), the physician must begin using the EHR in a “meaningful way”, as defined by CMS, no later than October 1, 2012.
