Does the MEP favour women?
It is our legal responsibility to monitor maintenance orders and agreements and to take action when necessary to enforce them. In 95% of our cases, the payee is female and the payor is male. This means we are most often enforcing against men; it does not mean we favour women. We provide a service for both payees and payors (women and men) to help ensure the terms of their maintenance orders are fulfilled. We follow the terms of the original maintenance order or agreement at all times. Up-to-date information about your case is essential for us to keep your account accurate.
