Does the media sometimes care more about celebrity gossip than serious news?
It certainly seems that way to me. Many stories are really not newsworthy at all. Airing celebrity gossip looks like much of the media places a lot of emphasis on things that are of no help to viewers…..at least this viewer. I change the channel when they cut to reporting on Entertainment gossip. I can care less whats going on in these celebrities personal lives. It’s really none of my business. Is it really important for me to know JLO had a baby or Michael Jackson had surgery on his face. All I know is that I like to be entertained by entertainers talent and not their personal stuff.
