Does the media influence public opinion of minority/ethnic groups as a result of terrorism?
errr , im a minority muslim, so ill give u the answer from the minority point of view – the media has definately influenced the view of the minority population, and in fact u can mention that the minority group thinks that the media do tamper alot with the information… i.e. they only mention bad things and omitt others, or they exaggerate things or try to relate attacks to w whole group of muslims when the people responsible are only few members of people who have barely lived within their muslim society anyway yes, people have changed to a point that there isnt the nice brotherhood tolerance anymore…. in the 80s it was much nicer and peaceful, and now everything is upside down ill give u an example, im lebanese, and during the war on lebanon, i was watching the english news and comparing it to the actual factual information happening downstairs from my house…. by calling my relatives and what happened is, the media was putting only flashes of information and omitting important o
