Does the maternal size affect the quality of the image?
While the state-of-the-art equipment used by all of our locations does allow us to make adjustments, maternal size may be a factor. Therefore, we make the following recommendations: Small framed clients, 5’2″ and under: We want your little one to have room to move so we suggest 26-30 weeks for 3D/4D imaging. Fuller figured clients: For gender determination, we suggest being at least 18 weeks and 29-32 weeks for 3D/4D imaging.
