Does the Maryland Food Bank meet any standards for charities?

0

The Maryland Food Bank is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. We have a staff of approximately 52 employees and are governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. The Maryland Food Bank is a certified member of Feeding America. In December 2002, the Maryland Food Bank was re-certified with the Maryland Nonprofits’ Standards for Excellence. With this certification, we are able to demonstrate to the public, our donors, and our constituents that we are committed to the highest industry standards and are accountable to the community we serve.
