• Directing Attention: • As already mentioned, the user wants to get something done within 20 hours. That means that the user needs to read only the absolutely necessary declarative information and get to the procedural information. • The Table of Contents doesnt make it easy to scan to the right section. The layout clumps information together and the content of headings doesnt make clear where the procedural information is. • In the body copy there seems to be a lot of declarative information. The large slabs of text suggest that there is a lot of declarative information that needs to be mastered and the user may be tempted to give up.
