Does the Loislaw case law contain headnotes?
Yes in those jurisdictions where headnotes are a part of the decision. In many jurisdictions, headnotes are not a part of the decision so Loislaw does not include them. With the speed and power of Loislaw search software, most customers find that headnotes, annotations, key numbers, and other “finding-aids” from the past are of very limited use, so Loislaw makes no attempt to create these finding aids if they are not found in the law.
