Does the loan bear interest?

0

Yes. All loans approved as of 28 February 1995 will accrue interest. The interest is calculated on the unpaid balance of the loan account. However, interest-free loans approved before 28 February 1995 will remain interest-free. New loan options added to an existing interest-free loan account will also remain interest-free. Loans for refugees selected from abroad will be subject to a grace period from interest for 1 to 3 years (depending on the size of the loan).
