Does the LMBP Network have any preferences as far as topics? How about suggestions for studies that would have the greatest impact on lab decision making?
A. LMBP certainly welcomes topic and practice suggestions that would be considered to have the greatest impact on laboratory decision making. LMBP topic selection criteria for pre- and post-analytic quality topics and practices requires that they be of broad stakeholder interest, and there is relevant outcome measure data available that can be analyzed to produce quality improvement practice effect size findings. The latter requirement is what makes LMBP an evidence-based approach.
