Does the linksys game adapter or xbox 360 wireless adapter work for live?
As the Linksys game adapter is a so called wireless bridge, that takes an ethernet cord and “translates” it wirelessly, it will work with your Xbox 360. In regards to the hotel room: It depends on how tight the hotel closes services on their network. They could (for example) only allow web and email traffic, and block for example Torrent downloads and online play. In most cases, you will however have a strict NAT, which means, you can only connect to Live games that are hosted on an open NAT. It all depends on the hotel’s security.
