DOES THE LIBRARY HAVE WORD PROCESSORS AVAILABLE?
The Library has a limited number of laptop computers available for check out at the 3rd floor Circulation Desk. The laptops include wireless Internet access and the MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) installed. Please bring a 3.5 inch diskette with you to save your work. You must have your SAC student ID to use a laptop computer. The laptops must be used on the 3rd floor of the Library. The main computer lab is the Student Learning Assistance Center (SLAC) on the 7th floor of the Moody Learning Center (MLC) room 726. The computers in SLAC have MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) installed. SLAC also carries the courseware that comes with textbooks. You must present your validated SAC photo ID card in order to use the computers and software in the SLAC. Other word processing resources on campus include the Internet Skills Center, in room 400B of MLC. Students needing word processing for an English class may also use the English dept. lab.
