No. However, your borrowing rights will be suspended when any item is three weeks overdue. These rights will be reinstated when the overdue items are either returned or paid for.

Yes.The month of November 2009 isthe amnesty month for the return of Library materials. From December 1, fines will be generated. • A charge of 20 cents/item/day will apply, up to a maximum of $12 per item. • A customer may neither borrow nor reserve items while there are fines owing. • No overdue fines apply if a customer pays for a lost or damaged item, instead the replacement fee and processing charges apply. • An amnesty will apply during November 2009 with fines commencing on 1 December 2009. • Fines are calculated from the close of business.
