Yes.The month of November 2009 isthe amnesty month for the return of Library materials. From December 1, fines will be generated. • A charge of 20 cents/item/day will apply, up to a maximum of $12 per item. • A customer may neither borrow nor reserve items while there are fines owing. • No overdue fines apply if a customer pays for a lost or damaged item, instead the replacement fee and processing charges apply. • An amnesty will apply during November 2009 with fines commencing on 1 December 2009. • Fines are calculated from the close of business.
