As a private, non-profit organization, the library does accept charitable donations, as well as donations of items which may be considered for our collections, or resold through the Friends of the Library bookstore. We ask that material donations be in good condition.

The Little Falls Public Library welcomes gifts of new and used books, audio recordings, videos, and similar materials. Items will be added to the collection in accordance with the selection policy of the library. Once donated, items become the property of the Little Falls Public Library and may be given to other libraries and non-profit agencies, sold, traded, or discarded if they are not added to the collection. Pick up is not available; all items must be brought to the library. Donated items will not be returned to the donor and the library will not accept any item that is not an outright gift. The library also reserves the right to decide when a gift added to the collection must be withdrawn. The library may only acknowledge receipt of donated items at the time of donation. A written listing of the donation must also be furnished to the library at the time of donation. It is the donor’s responsibility to establish fair market value or obtain expert assistance in establishing any val

Yes. the Library appreciates donations of books, audio tapes, videos, etc… Please bring your donations to our desk during regular business hours. Once items are donated, they become the sole property of Fallon County Library. You may obtain a receipt for donated books for use for taxes.
