Does the level of reflection from the table/panel surfaces comply with EU Directives (transposed into German law)?

The level of reflection and surface brightness are important factors regarding whether a tabletop is suitable for VDU workstations. Ideally, tabletops in natural beech with 20% reflection and synthetic resin (14% reflection) are used. Glass and granite cannot be used for office desks as permanent workstations. Black oak is also unsuitable because it is not bright enough. The reflection level from the powder coating (medium gray) is 68-72%, which therefore meets the requirements. More details are given in the document entitled “Bildschirmarbeitspltze” (VDU workstations) which you can order through Contact.
