A. Yes. PPTP is used to create “tunnels” between clients and a tunnel server. The tunnel allows secure multi-protocol connections to be established to a remote private network via a public network, like the Internet. There is no configuration required on the LAN Modem for this to work. The LAN Modem can also support other VPN protocols, like L2TP. For more information, please look in the User Guide and VPN document.
