Does the Kitsap County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office provide copies of police reports?
Police reports generally are not released to persons other than the defendant’s attorney while a case is pending. After a case is finished, any member of the public may obtain copies of some reports by filing a Public Disclosure request with the involved law enforcement agency or our office. Mr. Hauge is the elected Prosecuting Attorney of Kitsap County, and his name appears on many of our official documents.
