Does the IT Health Check have to be carried out by a CHECK certified team?
It is not currently mandated that IT Health Checks be carried out by CHECK certified staff. Companies belonging to CHECK are measured against high standards set by CESG. Therefore, customers can be assured that they will receive a high quality service if the work is carried out under the Terms & Conditions of CHECK. In addition they will, as part of the ITHC process, advise on what the scope of the ITHC. Two other schemes are also available in wider industry that can also provide assurances of those carrying out work in this field.
