Eye transplantation means only the cornea is transplanted not entire eye ( I think you have seen minority report of Tom Cruise) But in actual world we only can transplant cornea only, how ever there are many surgeries of eye which can damage iris, like surgery done for glaucoma & some extrent simple catract surgery also.
