Does the IRC2550 have RFID technology?
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Technology is not implemented. There is no IC tag on the device to manage or trace. RFID is used for authentication. If you are talking about authentication by proximity card or smart card, the answer is yes. Our device supports card authentication through MEAP applications. I am looking for the directions of how to set up a CiR to use department IDs when printing and cannot locate them. You can set up department ID for printing by accessing the properties menu of the device. Go thru the start menu on your PC > settings > printers and faxes > right click on the device > choose properties > device settings tab > job accounting feature.
