Does the Internet have a role to play, whether for marketing, B2B, or for customer purposes?
Mr. Ballinger: We are quite interested in using the Internet for particular parts of our business, where it makes sense. For instance, I get really cheesed off when I go to one of our stations on a Monday morning or particularly at the start of the month and find a thumping great queue where everybody is renewing their season ticket. Now I do not believe in selling tickets generally by the Internet because it is just as easy to go along and stick your money in a ticket machine at the station. But one thing we must do is something to help with the issue of season tickets and other periodical tickets. That is a part of our business where we believe the Internet can help. TWST: What are the highlights on the balance sheet? Mr. Ballinger: Just the incredible strength of the balance sheet in terms of the cash flow. We reckon that we have got well over GBP100 million borrowing power over and above the 70 million that we are already shelling out for British Midlands ground handling services.
