Does the inspection company offer to give a big book of info that is included with the home inspection?
What your clients are after, is a thorough home inspection with content about the specific house they are considering purchasing, not bulk or info that may not even apply to their home. There are many books that are loaded with more info, such as “Ortho’s Home Encyclopedia”, that they can pick up at any book, or home improvement, store. Also there are many online “HOW TO” websites (DIY, HGTV, This Old House, etc.) they could refer to if they so desired. They should choose a home inspector based on his/her ability to do a thorough inspection and deliver a clear, detailed report which can assist them in making an informed purchasing decision. Substance should be measured in content, not weight!
