Does the IMACS BRI card support BERT testing features?
Yes, you can run end-to-end BERT tests by selecting the BRI Card from the Main Menu, press ‘t’ for test. Then set BERT to the desired test pattern. A few of the options are mark, space, 1:1 and 1:7 Here is a screen capture of a successful end-to-end BERT on BRI Port 1. Notice that BERT is set to mark and that the SYNC status displays ‘yes’ indicating that the port is receiving and sending the mark test pattern properly end to end.
