Does the IEP prepare students for the TOEFL and the new iBTOEFL?
Everything a student does in and with English is preparation for performing well on the Paper or iBT TOEFL. Teachers provide students with information on how particular classroom activities relate to TOEFL expectations. Level 6 and 7 students can choose a TOEFL preparation elective course. The IEP expects all students to take the Paper-based TOEFL test at the end of each session for practice, and for additional information in placing students in the most appropriate level of instruction. In addition, the IEP offers optional additional TOEFL practice tests and discussions on Saturday mornings at no additional cost.
