Does the HP Photosmart Digital Camera turn on?
• Open the Battery/Memory card door on the side of the camera. The Memory/USB light will be on steady and the Image display will turn on. If the camera was without batteries the LCD screen will prompt to enter the date/time. Figure 4: Opening the lens cover • If the Memory/USB light is on and steady, the camera is ready to use. • If the Memory/USB light is off and the Image Display does not turn on, try with another set of fresh batteries. The camera uses two AA batteries. For the best results, use photo-lithium or rechargeable NiMH batteries. If you must use alkaline batteries, use high-grade ultra or premium varieties instead of ordinary alkaline batteries.
