A.The house mouse itself does not carry airbourne diseases, but in some areas the deer mouse’s droppings and urine can carry a potentially deadly disease called Hantavirus. This is carried through the air when the nest or frequently visited spot is disturbed. This is extremely rare, and can be controlled by using a disinfectant spray on the nest area before removing it.
