Mr. Gary Doer (Leader of the Opposition): I would like to join the Minister of Finance (Mr. Stefanson) in thanking the press corps for the good idea, I thought, of having a road hockey game. It is a little bit similar to our pastime as youth, I suppose, but it was missing some of the old ingredients of road hockey as we know it from our grandfathers and grandmothers who used to play with other material, rather than a broom hockey ball. I believe it was called a road apple in the old days. Perhaps rather than having these new fancy balls that froze and then broke at the end of the game when it was a crucial point, we could have the old equipment in the next game. We would like to congratulate members opposite and all the deputy ministers and executive assistants and others who joined in on their victorious team. We want to congratulate you on your victory.
