Does the Health Professions Council recognise the FD in Counselling?
HPC has not yet announced details of the requirements for counselling but we are working closely with them to ensure the FD Counselling will meet all necessary requirements to enable students to register with HPC upon completion of the award and any other necessary additional personal development requirements. We cannot guarantee at this stage that the award will be a recognised route to registration but we are aiming to achieve this and will provide detailed information later in the year on this dedicated FD Counselling website when registration details with HPC are finalised.
