Does the health check for a Residency Visa in Dubai test for Marijuana?
Im a bit confused by these other answers as I just called the consule of Dubai and was told the policy is to check for diseases and not substances. A colleague of mine who is in Dubai confirmed the same stating the checks were for HIV/Aids and what not. Seems to be a lot of conflicting views. On another note I have been searching the web for articles of expats failing drug tests at the medical as you would imagine with the wide spread use of drugs these days the examples of people failing would be rife, but I cant find any other than people who have aroused suspicion at airports or in public being subjected to a check.
