Does the Hardware KeyLogger work on a USB keyboard?

0

Currently no. The Hardware KeyLogger works on the normal PS/2 keyboards (small round plug), and the older AT-style keyboards (larger round plug, requires adapters). If you are unsure what type of keyboard that you have, check the plug at the end of your keyboard cable. If it’s round, then the Hardware KeyLogger will work. 13. A note about DELL laptops Some late models of DELL laptops cannot playback the keystrokes although the recording function works fine. The symptom is that when you enter the password in a word processor, some garbage characters will appear and the menu will not be displayed. It seems DELL did not implement the full PS/2 hardware interface standard on these laptops. The Hardware KeyLogger’s keystroke recording is still working correctly on these laptops however. You just need to connect the keylogger to a different computer to access the menu and playback the recorded keystrokes. So far we have not seen similar problems with other brands of laptops.
