Does the grooms mother wear a different color dress *** the rest of the bridal party?
The mother of the bride should pick out an outfit that compliments the bridal party. Not necessarily the same color but something that looks good next to it. The mother of the groom is supposed to pick out her outfit after the mother of the bride. Their outfits should compliment each other as well. If one mother wears a floor length gown, the other should as well. If it is a formal wedding the dress length should be either floor length or tea length. If it is not a formal wedding then they can have a little bit more play as far as the legnth of the dress.
