Yes. The Special Needs Assistance Program for Seniors is an income-tested program that assists low-income seniors with unexpected or one-time costs such as appliances, essential home repairs and some medical expenses. A single senior with a total income of less than $24,500 or a senior couple with a total combined income of less than $39,900 may be eligible to receive a special needs benefit.
