All these people only believe the government has the right to do it, because they are used to it. They accept it as the norm. These same people, if asked if the government has the right to make caffeine (a drug) or alcohol (a drug) illegal would say No, because they’ve grown up all their lives with that right. It’s like if you give a little kid a lollipop, then take it away, he will cry. If you never give it to him in the first place, he won’t care. The government absolutely does NOT have the right to tell us what can and cannot do to our OWN bodies. Everything is made up of chemicals, and it is absurd that they just say “you can’t have these certain chemicals”, and throw you in a cage if you disobey. “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” (theres your quote. I would say the declaration of independence is a credible source) are SUPPOSED to be unalienable rights (meaning they CANT be taken away).
