Does the Gold Eagle system work outside the home?
Generally, yes. If you press your alarm button while outside in your yard—assuming you are within range—the system will work and the console will automatically contact Gold Eagle’s 24-hour monitoring center. However, the operator will not be able to hear your voice if you are outside, so they will assume a medical emergency and dispatch paramedic rescue to your house. *PLEASE NOTE: If you live in a large apartment or condo complex, the system may only work inside the home because apartment construction blocks the signal from outside. Your Gold Eagle representative will test the range in your home to let you know how far your coverage area extends.
