Does the global warming theory lack proof that humans are causing it?
There are certain things that are not in dispute. It is generally considered by everyone (skeptics and believers) that co2 is a greenhouse gas. If you increase this greenhouse gas , you should get some warming. We have had some warming. Hence follows Trevor’s illogical conclusion that this warming must be caused by co2 and that future warming will be catastrophic. All scientists know that causation is not proof. If I kick a ball, I can give you the theoretical explanation as to why it should move. But there are many factors that will affect the distance traveled. If you are kicking it uphill, downhill, against the wind, with the wind etc. To use an analogy, proponents are saying it will move a certain distance. Skeptics are saying it will move a lot less. All Trevor has done is proved that the ball should move.
