Does the Giant Anteater have any natural enemies (besides man)? Does any animal prey on Giant anteaters?
Jaguars & pumas hunt, kill, & eat giant anteaters, but not nearly as much as man who hunts them for their pelts and meat. And the big cats must be quite skilled. Anteaters have been known to kill cats with their long & powerful front claws, so they are not an easy target.
