Does the Furlough apply if an employee plans to retire on or before June 30, 2010?

0

If the employee has submitted a letter of resignation to his or her supervisor indicating a retirement date on or before June 30, 2010, the employee will be exempted from the Program starting the first of the month following submission of the letter. Employees are advised to submit a copy of their retirement resignation letter to the Office of Human Resources (OHR) at their earliest convenience to assist OHR administering the employee’s individual situation appropriately.
