A1: No. Our goal is to continue to provide access to the University’s retiree health care plan when you retire regardless of the funding option. If you retire on or before June 30, 2006, Loyola’s contribution towards your retiree health will be through the subsidy funding model (Option A). If you retire on or after July 1, 2006, Loyola’s contribution towards your retiree health will be based on the retiree health account model (Option B).
