Generally, it may take a little longer to see the positive results on these vehicles. This is due to the nature of the technology itself since a cleaner, hotter combustion starts to clean-out carbon & varnish deposits. This “cleaning-out” may tend to contaminate the combustion during this initial process. However, as the system gets cleaner, your mileage will start getting better. In limited situations where the fuel system is very dirty, initial results may show a decrease in mileage during the initial “cleaning-out” period. Remember this is temporary and will get better as the clean-out progresses.
