Does the FT link have to be 802.1q trunk or can it be a totally dedicated point to point link using a VLAN # that is not in use?
A. It’s recommended to only carry the FT vlan so you don’t risk saturating the link with other non-ft traffic (even if FT-traffic is tagged with the highest priority possible). You can however use another trunk already in use for other VLANs, in that case I’d definitely go for a channel of gig links.
