Does the formula contain estrogen?
The herbs in the formula do not in themselves contain estrogen or other hormones. Rather they contain hormone-like substances that can mimic the activity of human hormones such as estrogen or progesterone, or make proper levels of such hormones more available in the body by normalizing glandular and hormonal activity. Because the herbs do not artificially raise estrogen levels in the way that synthetic drugs such as birth control pills do, they do not encourage cancerous growth or other side effects seen with synthetic hormone-manipulating drugs.
