Does the FirstMark Oncology Health Monitoring Test screen for all cancers?

No. tFFDP strongly correlates to the following cancers: lung, cervical, ovarian, colon, rectal, and stomach. This biomarker may also correlate to other cancer types such as: bladder, brain, esophageal, leukemia, liver, malignant lymphoma, oral, pancreatic, thyroid, trophoblastic, and urinary. It is possible this test may not show elevated levels of tFFDP for all the cancers listed above. Please use all possible methods if cancer is suspected to determine if a malignancy is present. Prostate and breast cancer do not correlate with this marker. Therefore, a PSA test and CA15-3 test are added at no additional charge to the tFFDP test for males and females, respectively.
