Does the Fire Marshals Office regulate fire suppression systems in vehicles or trailers where food is prepared and/or served to the public?

Vehicles equipped with commercial kitchen fire suppression systems used for food service at fairs, festivals, school events, etc. are regulated by the Fire Marshal and must show compliance with all codes and regulations. Be prepared to show the Deputy inspecting your event proof of current service and the appropriate fire extinguisher(s) required for the cooking appliances present. Please note that the Special Event Permit-holder (e.g. the person who applied for the permit) is responsible for ensuring that all vendors at the event comply with the code.
