We do not include Linux drivers for the Fire-i™ Digital Camera. However, you can find generic drivers for 1394 digital cameras in the latest Linux Kernels. For more information, please visit the Linux-1394 web site: http://www.linux1394.org/ and the compatibility list: http://www.linux1394.org/cgi-bin/hcl.cgi. • I cannot get my Fire-i™ Digital Camera to work through an otherwise functioning FireWire CardBus card in my notebook (PC or Mac). The Fire-i™ Digital Camera is generally powered from the FireWire bus. Because the CardBus slot does not supply power to the FireWire bus, an external source for power must be used.
