Does the filtered water have small black particles, as found in my filtered water using Brita filter?
You will not have any black particles in your countertop water filter even when you run water through your filter for the first time. With the shower filter, you need to turn the tap on for around 1 minute the first time you use it as there will be some initial granules which are there due to installation.
