Absolutely NOT. Again people do NOT understand and don’t research, but just jump to conclusions. What I bet they’re thinking of is that the citizens in the states pay money and they don’t get THAT proportionate return in things that feds fund–like Medicaid. Medicaid is a joint federal and state program with funding from BOTH sources. There are mandatory guidelines, BUT the states can alter a wide variety of factors. The “wealthiest” states only get 50 cents on the dollar matched by the feds while “poorer” states receive MORE. This would be an excellent example of where people scream that the state doesn’t get back “all of it’s money but only x cents on the dollar.” What this proves again is that you CAN NOT get CORRECT information from the AVERAGE citizen of ANY country (the rest of the world doesn’t know any more than Americans do) about how their systems work. (Good Lord, we can’t get 100% of the people to even know who the president is after 8 YEARS in office.) This kind of nonsens
