Does the federal funding from OSEP mean we don’t need to use RFB&D or American Printing House for the Blind anymore?
No. The three main national entities providing accessible media have different focus areas and expertise: • Human narrated audio – RFB&D • Hard copy Braille – American Printing House for the Blind • Digital text – Bookshare Together, these three national organizations provide a range of crucially important options for students with disabilities. In addition, Bookshare is committed to reducing duplication of effort across the entire field.
