Does the FCC ruling cover in-state services?
No. Each state’s laws and public utility or public service commission rules govern in-state telecommunications services. They are not affected by the FCC proceedings. In-state services will continue to be provided pursuant to state tariffs, where applicable. There are a few states where the Consumer Services Agreement also covers in-state services. Back to Top.
